Illinois's Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (the Act) recognizes that building a clean energy economy requires a deliberate and inclusive approach to workforce growth. Rather than simply transitioning to clean energy sources, the Act prioritizes funding in programs that provide meaningful jobs for communities historically harmed by pollution and ind
